Dr. Scott Rief

About the doctor

Dr. Rief, a Nebraska native from Shelby, NE, founded Active Family Chiropractic & Acupuncture in 2007. He earned his undergraduate degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, IA. During his time at Palmer, he was selected to participate in a humanitarian effort in India, where he provided much-needed healthcare to the local population.

Dr. Rief is certified in acupuncture through the Fellowship of Acupuncture Society of America, certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and is a member of the Nebraska Chiropractic Association. He is also certified in the Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is dedicated to staying up-to-date with advancements in the chiropractic field to provide the best care possible for his patients.

Dr. Rief and his wife, Dr. Mindy Rief, a dentist, have three children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and being outdoors.
