Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about chiropractic care? Our FAQ page covers what to expect on your first visit, how our office works, and how adjustments support overall health. Find answers to commonly asked questions and learn how chiropractic care can make a difference.

How long does the first visit take?

As long as you have your paperwork completed through the text link that we send you, plan for about an hour. This first appointment is longer because it includes the initial consultation, exam, and x-rays.

Do I have to have a lot of treatments?

Your treatment schedule will depend on what your doctor finds during your initial exam. Our doctor's goal is to get you out of pain as quickly as possible and get you onto wellness care. Communicate any concerns you have with your doctor about your treatment plan so they can find the best fit for you!

Do I have to get x-rays?

This depends on what the doctor finds during his exam. We prefer to take x-rays for most patients so we can get to the root of the problem as quickly as possible and avoid any unknown factors. Be sure to communicate your preferences with your doctor!

How is work comp handled?

Make sure you have done the following:

1. Reported the incident to your employer.
2. Your employer has opened a claim for you.
3. Get your claim number and adjuster's name.

With work comp, we will need prior-authorization before you are seen. Call to get us this information and we will get it to our billing department ASAP so you can get seen as soon as possible.

How much does it cost?

This will ultimately depend on your insurance coverage. Call our office with your insurance information and we can let you know exactly how much it will cost for you.

If insurance does not cover the exam and x-rays, we do have a new patient special of $49.50 for the exam and $49.50 for x-rays.

Can children receive chiropractic care?

Yes! Chiropractic is for all ages... starting with newborns. Our chiropractic kids find relief from colic, digestive issues, chronic runny nose, crawling, walking and more. Getting your children adjusted can also help them reach important milestones at the right time or sooner.

Can I be seen if I'm pregnant?

Yes! We are able to help expecting mothers before, during, and after pregnancy.

What symptoms can chiropractic help with?

Chiropractic can help with back, neck, and joint pain.

It can also help with headaches, sinus issues, allergies, sciatica, numbness and tingling, lack of mobility, stress, and more.
